13 Places I Shop

Breaking it down by space to highlight some of my favorite and go-to vendors for my home and others!

Every space and every homeowner in different, no surprise there. For me, these are the places I shop first when working on a new home. I’ve either specified these vendors regularly or have them in my own home. I’m thankful for each of these companies and what they do!

OUTDOOR

Outer

You may have seen them as you scroll through Instagram, but I have to tell you, their product and customer service is amazing. We decided to invest in outdoor furniture that’ll last, since we had previously purchased a sad sectional from Wayfair where the cushions lasted a total of 2 months before breaking down. We opted for the aluminum frame due to our Las Vegas sun and the gray fabric.

I absolutely love that the covers are integrated into the furniture piece. It is so easy to run outside when we are about to get a dust storm or monsoon to quickly cover the cushions - or keep them covered when the pine trees behind our home start sprinkling neon green pollen on everything! We love our sectional and I’d highly recommend spending up for good outdoor furniture.

Teak Warehouse

This is a great retail source for good quality outdoor furniture. As I said before, outdoor furniture is a great place to invest. Teak Warehouse has a curated selection of products online. They are my go-to for dining chairs, club chairs and accent tables.

Anthropologie + Urban Outfitters

Anthropologie will always have a place in my heart, since I worked there during architecture school. I’ve watched their home department go from candles and plates to customizable furniture and collaborations with amazing designers. I have both Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters on this outdoor part of the list because this is a retail site that can surprise you with their selection.

Funky side tables, unique planters, and fun outdoor games can all be sourced with these two vendors. “Where did you find that?” will be a common question with your guests, that’s for sure!

LAS VEGAS LOCALS: Cactus Joe’s

If you are a Las Vegas local and haven’t been, take the trip out to Cactus Joe’s! Cacti are like little art pieces for your outdoor space. I love placing them in pots around the hardscape areas to bring greenery to the gray areas.

Cactus Joe’s is out towards Blue Diamond and it’s huge, so bring water and tennis shoes. It’s fun to poke around (also check out the rock shop) but also great to pick up a great plant to feature in your outdoor space.

LIVING ROOM

Broken Top Candle

If you follow me, you know this company is one of my favorites. I have them listed here because of the layering scent aspect of the brand. Lighting a great candle is one thing, but adding in a linen spray to mist your sofa while a reed diffuser keeps your space smelling great is magic! They are a great neutral looking candle with clean scents, plus they aren’t so precious looking that you don’t want to use them - perfect balance of design and usability. Currently, my living room is White Birch and I love it!

OneFortyThree

This is a local Vegas shop that I’ve been working with for some time. They lean a bit towards Mid Century Modern for their in-line products. They have been amazing to work with for custom items for my client, and I have a few of their in-line products in my home. My favorite of our personal collection is the wall-mounted record holders, runner up is the Ogden sconce in my office!

The Citizenry

One place I strive to purchase from for my home - not ideal for living with a crazy toddler, but one day! For my clients, this is a go-to for their throw blankets. The Diamanta Alpaca Throw has gone into so many homes I have accessorized. The link to the maker’s workshop and how long it takes to make a throw adds a connection a lot of companies don’t highlight. It justifies the cost and directs your attention to the quality when you cuddle up with the throw for the first time.

KITCHEN + DINING

Grove Collective

Clean products aren’t usually what designers speak about, but it’s Grove I’m talking about! I am constantly looking for decorative soap pumps that last, and currently Grove is at the top of my list. For my clients, I want to make things easy. Shopping at a boutique shop to find a curated hand soap for their kitchen is great for the photoshoot, until the bottle runs out. Once the bottle is out, now what? Grove makes it easy to get on a subscription or pick up an eco- friendly refill at Target. Now the kitchen I accessorized stays looking great!

Extend this to your dish soap, sponges, brushes and all the cleaning products you use! I have slowly replaced all my cleaning products with Grove and have them in their spiffy glass bottles - now under my sink looks sleek too and the products work wonderfully and smell even better!

Our Place

I’m sure their pan is great, but I know their plates and glasses are fantastic! The key here - THEY STACK. I love opening my cabinet to see the small plates and glasses neatly organized and safely stacked. For clients who opt for no upper cabinets and have shelving in their kitchens, these are what I suggest - also applies to glass doors!

TheRealReal

You know I am a sucker for vintage and second hand, but did you think to shop on a site like TheRealReal? Go big and invest in some key tableware pieces for your home! Think of a gorgeous vintage water pitcher or a designer table runner - second hand is a great way to go. I am always saving pieces I stumble upon when I scroll through the app at night. They are perfect items to add into a client’s home - or my own!

BEDROOM + BATHROOM

Parachute Home

Oh, linens. There are so many options on the market, and if you have your favorite sheets and towels - congratulations! It takes years of trying budget friendly brands until you are able to invest, and once you find that brand, you swear by them. Well, my go-to is Parachute Home! For my clients, the layering of colors and textures adds so much interest and I feel good about suggesting them since we love our Parachute sateen and linen sheets! Their towels, robes and throws are dreamy. I will say, if you opt for linen - they take about a week to soften up and once they do they are so cozy and breathable!

Britt Fabello

Bedrooms are a place for lightness and texture, and that’s how I paint the picture for my clients. Art plays a big role in this feeling, and Britt’s art is a perfect addition! I love her travel inspired works which lean architectural, but the softness of her work lends itself for spaces like the bedroom or bathroom - ah, how good would one of her pieces look in a bathroom with white marble counters and rift oak cabinets!

Etsy

Your little oasis calls for personalized items - cue Etsy! Not going to name anything in particular, but think of some items you need to organize your nightstand or vanity, and check Etsy first. Finding something that supports a small business or can be customized to help tell your story is so memorable. I have a ring dish with a song quote etched in the bottom, and for a client I sourced a succulent stained glass ring holder as well!
